Your leads can now favorite listings for the properties they are most interested in by clicking the heart icon in the upper right hand corner of the feature photo directly from a widget anywhere you place it on your businesses website.
Available within the new Listings Showcase and Listings Carousel widgets for IDX Broker Platinum Clients, Favorite Listings gives your leads the freedom of saving properties with fewer steps. Without losing any existing saving functionality, it’s now easier to get insight into a potential client’s search preferences and allows them to filter and easily access the curated list of properties they have saved across your entire website.

The Favorite Listings setting is disabled by default for new widgets and you will need to enable this functionality while building them. To do this, select the Favorite List check box in the Fields to Display menu located on the left-hand side of the widget builder menu. You may need to scroll to the bottom of the screen to find this list.
Note: If you have passwords enabled for your leads, you must have HTTPS enabled in your IDX account in order for individuals to save a listing on your real estate website from a widget. To do this, log into your IDX Broker Account and navigate to Account > Details. Verify the button for Enable HTTPS is set to Yes. If you don’t require leads to have passwords, just check the box in the widget settings and, viola, leads can access and add properties to their saved properties list anywhere you have a favoriting-enabled widget.
Note: Users who attempt to favorite a property will be asked to login in the widget the first time they utilize the favorite feature on that device. Users who have not created an account with your IDX Broker account website will see a popup window asking them to login or register for an account before they can proceed. Users will see filled heart icons on properties they have saved in the past only after logging in via a widget on your website.
From an agent’s perspective, properties favorited by new clients/leads through a widget are treated exactly like properties favorited from results and details pages.Leads will be able to receive property updates on properties favorited via the widgets the same way as other properties they have saved in the past. You can navigate to your Account Management page to view and edit these properties as well.
